In addition to being named the Paddleboarder of the Year in 2021 and receiving numerous leadership awards, Mike is a native of Whitby, Ontario. He has been recognized for his courageous contributions to the mental health of children and young adults. Last year, he attempted to paddleboard across international waters. He stopped his 140 km journey after 75 km due to high waves, cold, and dangerous conditions. Over the next four months, he plans to paddleboard across all five Great Lakes. There is one thing, however, you may not know. Mike suffers from several disabilities caused by Ramsey Hunt Syndrome. It is exhausting and painful for him to try again. It is also extremely stressful. He needs our help. There are many ways for you to share.
For $20 (no tax), we are offering six-packs of our special Great Lakes Crossing Cookies, with 100% of the proceeds going to Mike to support this event.
These delicious Kindness Cookies are made with our original buttery Shortbread recipe with vanilla royal icing on top. The printed design on the cookie says "Kindness Starts with You", making them a thoughtful gift to give to someone or keep them for yourself as a yummy treat!
