“Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.” —Desmond Tutu
In a world where each day brings negativity and uncertainty, it helps to try and gain some peace by doing some good in the chaos. After what seemed like weeks of inconveniences, pain, and frustration, Eat My Shortbread has weathered this summer storm and we are feeling like we are back on top.
FULLY REOPENED
FLOOD & WATER DAMAGE
The damage from a flood in our unit from an above tenant is still not quite repaired but it is getting there and should be finished by the end of this month. We lost a couple of pieces of equipment and had to close for a few days but we are fully reopened and ready for you in the newer space that is more like a little market with local gourmet foods and of course our delicious baked goods.
RECOVERING WELL
QUEEN BAKER SURGERY
Trisha had double jaw surgery on July 7 and after 2 infections and a LOT of pain, she is finally feeling better and more like herself. Full recovery takes about a year but she is quite happy with the new ability to breathe and sleep easier!
